Pools and Arterial Wells
When it comes to filter fillings for swimming pools, Quartz sand of different granulations is used:
from 0.3mm to 0.8mm, from 0.8 to 1.2mm and from 1.0 to 2.0mm.
Well filters as protection against larger particles (sand, ground, dirt...), use quartz sand that is backfilled with granulation: from 1.0 to 3.0mm and from 2.0 to 4.0mm.
