History
The industrial mining company „Kvarc" was founded in 1958 in Vlaško Polje near Mladenovac.
In the beginning, it was engaged in the exploitation of natural, unwashed quartz sand.
In the 1962 year, new capacities for washing, drying and separation of quartz sand were built and the company opens the door to the foundry industry.
Than in 1980 the production of mold adhesives, graphite coatings, slag collectors, refractory masses and other materials for the foundry industry is introduced.
In the 2002 the company „Kvarc" starts operating as a joint-stock company.
Than in 2006 The privatization of „Kvarc" Joint Stock Company began in.
Finally in 2011 „Kvarc" Joint Stock Company, changes the structure to „Kvarc D.O.O." company.
